LEAN SIX SIGMA GREEN BELT leads problem-solving projects on a part-time basis, trains and coaches project team members as needed, acts as internal consultant for process excellence. GREEN BELTS have a basic understanding of all aspects of the define, measure, analyze, improve and control (DMAIC) model in accordance with SIX SIGMA principles. They have basic knowledge of LEAN concepts, can identify non-value-added elements and activities and are able to use specific tools to eliminate waste, reduce variation and improve quality.
